1. Starter- on presentation

2. Teacher explains that Newton's third law says that for every object moving at a constant velocity, or at rest, their are equal and opposite forces acting. Explains the normal force.
Explains that the resultant force must be greater than zero in order for an object to change speed or direction. DEMO NEWTONS THIRD LAW BY HAVING 2 STUDENTS STAND ON SKATEBOARDS AND PUSH AGAINST EACH OTHER - THEY ARE PUSHING FORWARD BY MOVING BACK. 15 minutes
